Yeah that's right, we are selling some at this upcoming food faire! :) Here is the list of food and supplies, and the names of the members in charge of bringing what items. If I made a mistake in writing down the wrong person, contact me or any of the board members immediately. Or you can just comment down below :P

We would appreciate it if someone, in addition to Talisa, can bring drinks. Cans are preferable, since it's more convenient. If anyone can, please contact us ASAP.

So now that the list of food and supplies needed is finalized, I will name out those who are permitted to leave 10 minutes before class ends to help set up. Mr. Truong sent out emails to your teachers so they know who is actually going to help rather than ditch class. In order to avoid any problems, please confirm that these are in fact your teachers (3rd period for 1st lunch, 4th period for 2nd lunch) by commenting below.

T-Shirt Designs

Today during lunch, there was a meeting just for the board members. We had a discussion about t-shirt designs for our club, and quite honestly, we had a difficult time deciding. Although the actual design is still up for debate, our general idea is to have t-shirts for the board and club members as two separate sets.

I (Vivian) have not confirmed with the President yet, but I advise that if you guys have any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated if you submit them before the end of this year. I would suggest some form of "VHS Vietnamese Club 2010-2011" written somewhere on the shirt with some kind of illustration. Please note that plagiarizing is highly discouraged. Thank you :)

REMINDER: There will be a meeting tomorrow at 3. We will be finalizing plans for the food faire this upcoming Friday. Cookies will be provided :P Hope to see you there!

Food Faire

Our October 28th, 2010 food faire was a huge success! We hope that the next one, this upcoming Friday on December 10th, will dish out more money than the last one, which will be difficult since we made a total of $168!
